Level Up

Accenture’s Level Up program gives CUNY and Prairie View A&M students the tools and opportunities to build careers in the world of innovation and technology.

 

About Level Up

Level Up will provide students from Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) with an environment to develop fundamental professional skills in technology and innovation while fostering the ability to build lasting relationships and career opportunities.

In partnership with Microsoft, the program will work to increase the representation of technology professionals from historically underrepresented communities.

If selected for Level Up, you’ll have the opportunity to complete a skill building course this spring in preparation for an eight-week paid opportunity over the summer. Upon successful completion, you’ll have the chance to return as a summer intern the following year.

Building skills and careers

Student experience

Experience working in a collaborative workplace with fellow students while gaining knowledge in professional development areas and hearing from best-in-class industry leaders.

Firsthand training

Gain in-demand skills in storytelling, personal branding, project delivery, artificial intelligence and more. Plus, obtain certifications sponsored by Microsoft and Accenture.

Accenture opportunities

An opportunity to complete the program with a returning summer internship and full-time offer at Accenture.

Eligibility

  • CUNY and Prairie View A&M University Sophomores, currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program, with no minimum GPA requirement.
  • Open to students interested in pursuing a career in technology.

The Level Up experience

The Level Up Program provides students the opportunity to work at the Accenture Innovation Hub and Microsoft offices, providing exposure to state-of-the-art technology and innovation environments.

Mentorship / Buddies

Assigned a formal point of contact to supplement your experience and provide advice and guidance as you consider long-term career options.

Networking

Interact with industry and technology experts, gain exposure to executives, join Employee Resource Groups and participate in-office and corporate citizenship events.

By investing in HBCU and HSI students with intentionality, Accenture and its partners will continue to build a robust and diverse talent pipeline, while addressing an area of social impact in the communities around us.​

The program expands beyond a traditional internship program, where the focus is not purely "on-the-job training," but rather to build foundational knowledge by exposing students to cutting-edge technologies and practical skills to leverage at any organization.
