You are:
A growth-focused sales professional who has successfully created positive impact through year-on-year business expansion. You know – and have run all phases of a sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying deep sales process and technical expertise. You develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients by utilizing a differentiated roadmap and framework leveraging the latest innovations in commerce.
As a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC)/eCommerce Sales Capture Senior Manager you will be responsible to shape, sell and close large deals that are single or multi-service. You will close sales opportunities resulting in profitable sales growth by leading opportunities from qualification to deal close using deep sales process skills and expertise in Accenture’s offerings. The Senior Sales Capture professional will play a role in originating opportunities in addition to qualification, shaping, selling, negotiating and closing.
The work:
Your role will require you to directly work with the client and the Accenture Account Leads, bringing ideas and innovation to designing, building, and running customer relationships, DTC/eCommerce growth, and customer success initiatives. You will be running the deal. You will also be accountable for shaping new deals, developing the sales strategy, aligning the teams to that strategy, and leading the team through both our internal processes and client processes to close the deals. You will sell Song’s wide portfolio of DTC/eCommerce and customer success offerings to the client.
Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:
- Originate, qualify, and close new opportunities for Accenture with our clients across our Song services, including DTC/eCommerce, digital customer strategy, user experience, and customer success
- Work with Accenture Song industry leadership teams to develop and deliver new business by creating trusted relationships with the key client stakeholders, playing the role of a trusted advisor
- Develop revenue growth strategies for Accenture Song clients including leading the team in performing rigorous analysis to identify potential value, creating the business case, and developing the requirements to implement the strategy
- Be a thought leader in DTC/eCommerce, sales and customer success challenges, trends, solutions, and economics
- Develop requirements to ensure that our Accenture Song assets, products, and services are fully leveraged to drive value for our clients
- Defining high-level enterprise business cases to drive fact-based decision-making for our clients
- Lead client assessment portion of pre-sales engagements, develop the sales strategy and plan then present key findings at the executive level to internal and external clients
Travel: As required for client support
Location: Primary residency within 90 minutes of an approved Accenture office
What you need:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience selling digital and/or omnichannel commerce solutions
- Minimum of 8 years Sales Pursuit Management experience.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in direct sales with quota preferably in excess of $10M
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience selling in the Shopify ecosystem
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience selling in the Consumer Brand industry (Beauty, Personal Care, Apparel, Electronics, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working within G2000 customers.
- Experience with C-Level client relationship building and relationship management
- Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated commitment, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
- High energy level, focus and ability to work well in demanding client environments
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
