Americas-US High Tech Sales Origination Senior Manager
People in the Sales career track grow pipeline and sales by managing and leading deal origination in a strategic selling mode in a specific client portfolio supported by Accenture Service Groups. They progress by deepening sales skills and/or developing new related skills, growing into more complex sales roles or sales leadership.
The Americas High Tech Sales Origination Senior Manager will:
Originate, shape, sell and close deals typically greater than $5M.
Proactively generate and build client relationships (qualify, solution, negotiate, close).
Articulate a compelling and differentiating value proposition to the client, that aligns to their business imperatives.
Create a compelling vision for the deal outcome through active listening, storytelling, and immersive experiences.
Work closely with the Client Account Lead, the client team and relevant subject matter experts.
Engage the firm’s leadership as appropriate and shepherd the deal through the firm’s approval process.
Provide discipline and rigor to the sales process as an expert on sales best practices.
Successfully lead and align a complex network of stakeholders.
Bring the right talent to the sales opportunities at the right time.
Here's what you need:
Minimum of 10 years' experience originating and strategic selling across multiple client stakeholders
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in direct sales with track record of exceeding annual quotas of $15 - $25M+
Experience selling to High Tech enterprise clients, with an understanding of current macro-pressures and priorities
Experience partnering with ecosystem partners
Ability to navigate a complex / matrixed organization.
Ability to bring together multi-discipline teams of varying seniority to organize around a single sales objective that delivers value to our clients.
Bonus Points if:
Origination skills with C-suite executive presence
Experience selling multi-service group deals
Experience leading origination campaign strategies
Experience collaborating with sales colleagues to ensure efficient and effective use of business development resources.
Entrepreneurial mind set, self-starter style and ability to drive outcomes

Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated commitment, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian.

Conversant in emerging trends in IT and Business
Ability to establish trust-based relationships internally to get support for client sales objectives
High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure
Strong facilitation and communication skills - both written and verbal
Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
