Data Engineer - Mid & Senior Level

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as a Data Engineer. As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. We are looking for a professional with strong expertise in data engineering, cloud platforms, ETL/ELT development, and data governance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related technical roles
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and automation
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and workflows
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and modern data integration patterns
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and compliance principles
- Experience managing databases and ensuring data reliability and performance
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
- Portuguese native + Fluent in English (B2+ or above)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows for structured and unstructured data
- Build reusable frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and optimization
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL
- Deploy and support data solutions in production environments, ensuring reliability and performance
- Automate data flows to enable efficient and seamless data consumption across the organization
- Develop and maintain internal tools and applications to support data operations
- Monitor data pipelines, data quality metrics, and system performance
- Implement and promote best practices for data governance, data security, and data quality
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering processes and standards
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and data engineering best practices
Nice to Have
- Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar
- Knowledge of big data technologies and distributed processing frameworks
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments
