As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of custom software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The position demands continuous alignment of technical solutions with overarching business goals, fostering an environment where innovation and quality are prioritized. Collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain scalability and performance of software systems is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes and integration within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in designing scalable and high-performance software architectures.
- Ability to lead technical teams through complex software development cycles.
- Familiarity with best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on cross-team collaboration and solution delivery.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.
- This position is based at our BDC7C - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
