What would you do? We are seeking a Fraud Analyst to monitor, detect, and investigate suspicious transactions across multiple channels, including ACH, wire, P2P, and card payments, for US-based banking and fintech clients. The role is focused on minimizing fraud losses, ensuring compliance, maintaining customer trust, and delivering high-quality operational outcomes that meet SLA expectations.
What are we looking for? Qualifications: ? Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. ? 1–3 years of experience in fraud operations, with preference for payment fraud or card fraud experience in the US market. ? Strong understanding of payment systems, including ACH, wire, cards, P2P, and RTP. ? Knowledge of fraud typologies, including account takeover, social engineering scams, mule activity, and card-not-present fraud. ? Familiarity with dispute and chargeback processes and applicable US regulations is preferred. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ? Strong communication and presentation skills. ? Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making ability. ? Ability to work effectively in high-volume, SLA-driven environments. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Working Conditions ? The candidate must be flexible to work US or rotational shifts and be willing to extend shift hours during the transition phase, as needed
Roles and Responsibilities: •? Review and resolve fraud alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems across payment channels, including ACH, wire, cards, and P2P. ? Analyze transaction patterns, velocity, geolocation, device and IP signals, and behavioral indicators to identify suspicious activity. ? Conduct end-to-end investigations of flagged transactions and accounts, including account takeover, payment fraud, and scam-related activity. ? Document investigation findings thoroughly and maintain accurate case notes and audit trails. ? Take appropriate actions, such as blocking transactions, restricting accounts, or escalating cases, based on investigation outcomes. ? Review customer-submitted fraud claims and assess transaction legitimacy. ? Compile supporting evidence for disputes, chargebacks, and recovery efforts. ? Ensure compliance with applicable US regulatory guidelines and network rules, including Reg E and Reg Z where relevant. ? Meet defined SLA, productivity, and quality targets. ? Follow client policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards in all case handling activities.
