This privacy statement is effective April 9, 2020 and may be updated from time to time with changes reflected on this People + Work Connect Platform (“Platform”).
Purpose of the People + Work Connect
This People + Work Connect platform (“Platform”) enables certain companies laying off or furloughing employees and other companies adding employees to be made aware of types of roles and positions that are available. It was designed exclusively as a tool to connect resource needs and to facilitate the hiring of people in an efficient manner given employment market disruptions caused by COVID-19 pandemic.
Personal Data In and Out of Scope
Accenture does not intend to collect any personal data connected with any jobs being lost or added by companies. The information captured is limited to certain roles, number of roles, an O-net code (Department of Labor), and general location information (city, state, country).
However, the Platform does collect information that you voluntarily provide to register and use the Platform. You will be required to provide certain contact information including name, corporate email address, business telephone number to register. Then to access the tool, you will need to enter in a user name and password. There is also a limited amount of information automatically collected when you log in including the time you access the Platform and the length of time you are in the Platform. This Platform may also use certain analytics software that enables Accenture to better understand the functionality used in the Platform so that Accenture can continue to improve the Platform. We use this information to provide you with the access to the Platform and to fulfill your requests for content and to determine what is effective about our Platform, how it is used by users and how we might improve the Platform.
Such information collected by this Platform will be collected and used in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement, the Accenture Privacy Statement, applicable data privacy laws and Accenture’s internal policies.

At the end of this Privacy Statement you can provide your consent for Accenture to use cookies. The cookies that are relevant for the Platform as of the Privacy Statement effective date are required to log in to the Platform.
How long do you keep my information?
Accenture retains your personal data only for as long as is necessary. Accenture maintains specific records management and retention policies and procedures, so that personal data are deleted after a reasonable time according to the following retention criteria:
- Accenture retains your personal data as long as it has an ongoing relationship with you.
- Accenture retains your personal data for as long as needed in order to comply with a legal obligation to which it is subject.
- Accenture retains your personal data where this is advisable to safeguard or improve Accenture’s legal position (for instance in relation to statutes of limitations, litigation, or regulatory investigations).
Where will my information be processed?
As a global organization with global IT systems, personal data we collect may be routed, stored, or transferred internationally throughout Accenture's worldwide organization or our vendors. We have internal policies in place to ensure an equivalent level of protection is in place across our organization. Any transfers of your personal data to other Accenture offices from within the EEA to outside the EEA will be governed by Accenture's binding corporate rules (BCR; a copy of which can be found here). We may also share personal data with our contracted service providers and advisors who may be located globally and so we may need to transfer your personal data to other countries. Before we do so, we take steps to ensure that your personal data will be given adequate protection as required by relevant data protection laws and Accenture’s internal policies.
Security
We maintain organizational, physical and technical security arrangements for all the personal data we hold. We have protocols, controls and relevant policies, procedures and guidance to maintain these arrangements considering the risks associated with the categories of personal data and the processing we undertake.
What are my rights?
As described in the the Accenture Privacy Statement, you have the right (in the circumstances and under the conditions, and subject to the exceptions, set out in applicable law) to: (i) request access to your personal data; (ii) request rectification of your personal data; (iii) request erasure of your personal data; (iv) object to the processing of your personal data; (v) request the restriction of the processing of your personal data; and/or (vi) request a copy or the portability of your personal data. Where Accenture processes personal information based on consent, which may be withdrawn at any time by simply contacting dataprivacyofficer@accenture.com, and as permitted by applicable data protection laws. The lawful processing of information prior to the withdrawal of any consent will not be affected by such withdrawal.
Internal Accenture Users: Accenture’s Data Privacy Policy 90 governs Accenture’s use of your personal data and explains your rights to inquire about, access and rectify your data and object on legitimate grounds to its processing. Marketing communications
You can indicate your preference to receive marketing communications by checking certain boxes offered on our webforms (where applicable) or as appropriate, within this Platform, or by utilizing opt in and opt-out mechanisms in e-mails we send to you. You can also exercise the right to discontinue marketing communications to you, or to have your personal data removed from our customer relationship management (CRM) databases at any time by using our Contact Us form.
