Network and Infrastructure Manager

The Network and Infrastructure Manager is part of the internal Information Security (IS) Architecture Team, under the Global CISO. The role is designed to lead cyber security strategies for Accenture itself and Accenture’s clients.  This role helps drive overall security posture, client relationships, and company reputation.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture and Strategy:

    • Own the Security Technology Road Map for Network, Infrastructure, align with AFS and Avanade

    • Define and maintain architecture direction for network related security tools

    • Security analytics strategy and roadmap - provide direction on the SIEM and analytics tools, with a focus on cloud and SaaS capabilities

    • Create and update capability maps for network technologies

  • Assist cloud enablement teams in qualifying security of cloud capabilities as they become available

  • Design and validate compliance measures for networking devices and technologies.   Assist technologies for measuring and reporting compliance to enterprise dashboards

  • Support initiatives that focus on network technologies, analytics, and automation

  • Identify and test new security features available from cloud providers and traditional network providers

  • Perform proof of concepts testing new tools and technologies

  • Mentor junior members of team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of networking experience working with routers, firewalls, network protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, SSH, DNS, FTP, HTTPS), wireless networks, and cloud cloud networks

  • Minimum 4 years of cyber security managing and configuring VPNs, remote access solutions, encryption, intrusion detection systems, firewall management, secure network design, and security information and event management

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General Network Infrastructure experience

  • Perimeter Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)

  • Wireless Networking WIPS

  • Remote Access (VPN and Remote Console)

  • Network Access Control / RBAC/Segmentation

  • Secure Web Browsing (Network)

  • DNS security

  • Network Encryption (TLS, SSL)

  • SIEM (Security Incident and Event Management) tools; prefer Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
