Silicon Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; San Francisco, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Silicon Engineering Manager in San Francisco, CA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Contribute to the development of efficient µArchitectures and contribute to ASIC architecture, design and verification.
  • Drive the top-level µArchitecture definition and develop the necessary register-transfer level (RTL).
  • Drive chip-level integration, verification plan development and verification.
  • Supervise the RTL-to-GDS flow and assist with synthesis and timing closure.
  • Support the test program development, chip validation and chip life until production maturity.
  • Work with FPGA engineers to perform early prototyping.
  • Support hand-off and integration of blocks into larger SoC environments.
  • Assist with algorithm analysis, verification and improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the technology industry.
 
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Working in Digital Design engineering or Chip engineering; and
  • Utilizing Verilog to perform pipelining, synthesis, Gate Level Simulation, Lint, Structural Check, and UPF for large Subsystems.


Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Microprocessor (uP) including ARM, graphics processing, and accelerators;
  • RTL coding, Synthesis, or SoC Integration;
  • Digital design µArchitecture;
  • Working with SystemVerilog, OVM, or UVM;
  • Scripting in Python;
  • Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) Architecture; and
  • Design for testing (DFT), including testability requirements and test program definition.


Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
