Linux Server Specialist (She/He/They)
Accenture Infrastructure Outsourcing works to support the most complex environments, develops, maintains them, and delivers new features and functionalities. With the company cloud strategy and development, a Linux position has been opened. The Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance, system migration and professional growth.
What will you do?
You will provide system administration for Linux environments on prem, in private and public clouds.
Mostly you will:
Provide maintenance and engineering support for Linux environments.
Implement changes on maintained environments and asses their impact prior to deployment.
Create automation of processes and tasks using available DevOps tools.
Qualifications
What do we expect from you?
At least 2 years Linux administration experience, RHEL or Ubuntu knowledge would be an advantage.
Installation of new operating system on new and existing hardware
Patching of operating systems
Linux monitoring (for example CheckMK, Nagios or Zabbix)
Linux security and hardening
Automation with Ansible Automation Platform,
Centralized server management: RedHat Satellite Server and RedHat Identity Management System (IPA)
Working experience with project management tools: Confluence, Jira and Miro
Experience with Dell and HPE servers (vendor support, assembling, updating, fixing) would be a huge advantage.
Knowledge of any of the following would be an advantage:
LDAP, OIDC, OAUTH, PKI Certificates, HashiCorp Vault and Packer, CIS Hardening,
Experience to use and install VMware vSphere ESXi and vCenter,
Experience to use and install KVM and libvirt, NetApp, Ceph, some common applications like Apache Webserver, Nginx, git, PostgreSql; Gitlab (Repo and Pipeline)
Good English (written and spoken), level B1 and above.
