What would you do? "We are seeking a skilled and motivated Power System Engineer with mid-level experience to join our dynamic team. As a Power System Engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, operation, and optimization of electrical power systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and safety. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the development, testing, and deployment of electrical infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Power System Analysis & Design: Perform steady-state and dynamic analyses of electrical power systems using advanced software tools (e.g., PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, CYME). Conduct load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, stability, and fault analysis. Design and specify components for electrical power systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks. Develop system models for various scenarios and provide solutions for power system optimization. System Protection & Control: Design, implement, and test protection and control systems for electrical networks. Perform coordination of protective relays and devices, ensuring proper settings for system protection. Troubleshoot and resolve protection system issues during both routine operations and emergencies. "
What are we looking for? "Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field (Master s degree is a plus). Experience in power system engineering, with a focus on design, analysis, and optimization. Proficient in power system analysis software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, ETAP,DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or CYME Solid understanding of electrical network components, including transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and conductors. Experience with protection and control system design, relay coordination, and fault analysis. •Remodeling of the Existing assets like Generator and Transformer"
Roles and Responsibilities: "•In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems • Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture • Decisions that are made by you impact your own work and may impact the work of others • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts •Power System Analysis & Design: •System Protection & Control •Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on the execution of electrical engineering projects, ensuring that designs meet client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Review and provide technical support for project specifications, including scope, schedules, and cost estimation. Support the implementation of system upgrades, expansions, and modifications.
