Life Trends

For the 2023 Trends Report, we chose to do more than simply use AI to create images. We took readers “behind-the-scenes” and showed them just how a designer utilizes their own talents, and knowledge of art history and design techniques to create the best images.




The Ask

Formerly the Fjord Trends, we were asked to visually bring to life the Life Trends – a marketing forecast for the coming year that is available to, and widely used by both marketing professionals and the general public. With the overarching theme of “Control & Power”, the visuals, as collective needed to support the report’s narrative.

The Idea

Formerly the Fjord Trends, we were asked to visually bring to life the Life Trends – a marketing forecast for the coming year that is available to, and widely used by both marketing professionals and the general public. With the overarching theme of “Control & Power”, the visuals, as collective needed to support the report’s narrative.

Over the course of only 2 weeks, our designers became experts in using Midjourney and Dall E, and by applying their own experience and expertise, pushed the technology farther than expected to create images that were high quality, visually intriguing and reflective of the trends’ narrative.

And the provocative images created by our designers did more than bring the Trends Report to life, they helped bring our social media channels to life, with our posts garnering 3 million impressions on LinkedIn, including a Valentine’s Day post that proved to be the most viewed organic post ever for Accenture. All of which led to a 6% increase in the number of people downloading the full Life Trends 2023 report.
