Job duties of this Role:
Assist in building and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines.
Support the development and optimization of our data warehouse, data lake, and other storage solutions.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and software engineers to ensure efficient data flows.
Work with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data processing frameworks.
Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and performance.
Assist in implementing data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Continuously improve and document data platform processes and workflows.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
Familiarity with Python, Java, or Scala for data processing.
Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
Exposure to big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka is a bonus.
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Good communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
High proficiency in both verbal and written English and Cantonese (Mandarin is an added advantage)
