HR Partner Leads partner with and are the single point of contact for business leaders. They connect with business leaders to understand the business/practice strategy and partner on all strategic HR leadership matters. Additionally, they play a key role managing HR people metrics for their area, collaborating with other Corporate Function leads (as necessary), and supporting key escalations. HR Partner Leads supporting Avanade will be fully focused on providing HR support for Avanade.
Key responsibilities
Lead a team of HR Partners and provide guidance to ensure the team is aligned with business needs and talent strategies.
Provide coaching, learning and career guidance to ensure the HR Partner team is aligned with business needs and Avanade talent strategies.
Support key escalations across the HR Partner team working with executive stakeholders.
Connect with Practice Leaders to understand the business/practice strategy and use that knowledge to coach our people, while also coaching Practice Leaders based on knowledge of our people.
Responsible and accountable for HR metrics, including sharing with business leads (ex. Attrition, I&D, etc.) targets, using data and storytelling to deliver insights to the business around key talent related metrics.
Provide leadership coaching and guidance
Manage critical path, process dependencies, and milestone compliance
Partner with Leadership to drive commitment & focus on I&D and wellbeing across the organization
Have a strong pulse on employee engagement and the employee experience of the practice, leveraging the employee listening strategy and action planning to support employee engagement and strategic people programs
Work closely with the Talent Strategist and Business Leadership on the development of talent strategy for area
Work with WF Planning Lead to drive the delivery of the talent plan (i.e. Prioritize and monitor recruiting plan, Exits, Pyramids etc. in line with strategy/demand/chargeability)
Work with WF Planning Lead to share talent priorities and understand impact on Supply Demand balance, attrition updates, and provide insights on impacts to chargeability
Manage and lead key HR processes for a practice – for example, performance management.
Collaborate with other HR teams to understand talent priorities and to develop and execute strategies and actions around inclusion & diversity, employee experience, and learning / up-skilling.
Assist in managing complex work efforts – including employee relations matters – while providing coaching and advice to leaders.
Job requirements
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business Administration, psychology, related field or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 10 years of prior experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in strategic HR management and business partnering.
In-depth understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Strong leadership, team management and coaching skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop and implement strategies human resources initiatives
Strong analytical skills to assess metrics and drive data-informed decisions
Ability to build ad maintain strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders
Familiarity with talent management, organizational development and change management
Ability to take initiative and drive HR projects forward
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and environments
