Accenture currently has an opportunity for an experienced and strategic Agency Sales Manager/Inside Sales Specialist in their Sydney – North Sydney office. The right candidate will join a dynamic and energetic team delivering digital marketing expertise to the Australia and New Zealand market and will play a crucial role in growing our business. We are partnering with our client, a leading social media platform, to help businesses build brand awareness, increase sales, and more, by leveraging innovative advertising solutions and insights.
In this role, you will lead a world-class team, driving exceptional customer experiences through strategic sales and account management. You will develop programs to scale operations, solve customer challenges, and drive revenue growth. Additionally, you’ll oversee the agency relationship, ensuring commitments are met with an 'Agency First' mindset while balancing the agency’s book of business with client needs. Success in this role requires mentoring and coaching your team to meet quarterly sales targets, exceed customer expectations, identify new sales opportunities, and optimise workflows. Your ability to innovate, manage people effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment will be key to achieving outstanding results.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a high-performing team of Agency Sales Representatives, dedicated to supporting and expanding both new and existing agency partnerships and their advertisers.
Drive revenue performance by setting and executing go-to-market strategies, optimising sales execution, and ensuring sustained client success across a diverse book of business.
Ensure all client Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets are consistently met across key areas such as performance management, people management, quality assurance, recruitment, policy communication, transition management, and more.
Oversee revenue forecasting and quota attainment, leveraging data-driven insights to track performance, identify trends, and drive strategic decision-making. Present key findings and solutions in weekly business revenue meetings.
Recruit, develop, coach, and retain top talent to build and maintain a high-performing sales team, fostering a results-driven culture where individuals are motivated to meet and exceed KPIs and targets.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities, conducting regular one-on-one meetings to review performance, set objectives, and deliver actionable feedback for continuous improvement.
Ensure excellence in execution by creating a collaborative learning environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, and performing regular call evaluations to maintain adherence to best practices, regulatory requirements, and customer engagement standards.
Act as an escalation point for complex or high-priority client queries, ensuring swift resolution and client satisfaction while reinforcing operational best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 3 years experience in account management, sales or customer service roles for Media agencies
Minimum 1-2 years experience in a leadership role (Team Lead or Manager) in a sales environment, with a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
Proven experience leading an Agency Sales team within the digital marketing industry, with deep understanding of the independent agency landscape in Australia and New Zealand and social media channels.
Expertise in sales forecasting, goal-setting, and monitoring sales activity, utilising CRM & reporting tools (Salesforce, Tableau, Monday preferred) to optimise performance and drive business growth.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to set clear goals, drive service improvements, and lead operational efficiencies across teams. Proven success in managing client and internal escalations in high-pressure environments while maintaining a solution-focused approach.
Proven track record in recruiting, coaching, and retaining top talent, fostering high-performing sales teams and supporting employee development.
Strong business relationship management skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent influencing skills and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistent delivery of results.
Demonstrated success in developing, measuring, and documenting improvements in workflows, system processes, and team performance, driving operational efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influences stakeholders at all levels.
