Small business engagement

Accenture Federal Services works with every category of small business partners to create opportunities to grow and serve as strategic partners.

Small businesses play a vital role in building our economy, strengthening our communities, and delivering the creativity that moves our country forward. Accenture Federal Services is deeply committed to building strategic partnerships that can help these businesses grow and can further empower our efforts to bring innovation in service of our customers’ unique mission needs.

We are extremely proud that our Small Business Program has been recognized with an “Exceptional” rating by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) in our last four reviews, a credit to what DCMA described as “an exemplary program that should be used as a model by other contractors in similar industries.” We also exceeded the industry average on our Contractor Performance Assessment Reports (CPARS) for Quality and Small Business Utilization in each of the last five years, affirming our ability to partner for real results.

Our Small Business Program built this success with collaborative, long-term teaming relationships with small, veteran, woman, and minority owned companies to jointly deliver effective technology solutions to the Federal Government and help connect our small business partners with new opportunities.

More than 20% of our government contracts are performed with our small business partners. Teaming helps these small businesses participate in government contracting opportunities which promote shared values, including economic equity and greater opportunity for disadvantaged socio-economic groups.

We work with every category of small and minority-owned business partners, including the following, to help clients achieve mission delivery success:

  • Small businesses
  • Small, disadvantaged businesses
  • Veteran-owned small businesses
  • Service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses
  • Women-owned small businesses
  • HUBZone companies
  • Historically black colleges and universities
  • Alaska Native Corporations
  • Certified 8(a) businesses
