Group Benefit professionals help transform sales and service operating models at leading group benefits providers. Ideal candidates have experience applying innovations in digital, analytics, intelligent automation and artificial intelligence to improve business performance.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

 

- Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

- Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.

- Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.

 

- As a subject matter advisor, you are regarded as a thought leader with immense breadth and depth of understanding of your space (including, but not limited to, trends, competitive landscape, emerging technologies). You bring a practicality to your advisory relationship with your teams and clients, with the right balance of functional knowledge and experiential insights you share in the most meaningful and actionable ways. You command excellent communication and people skills along with a strong desire to impact the insurance industry.

- Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in with Group Insurance carrier, specifically in the area of end-to-end administration of group insurance benefits from onboarding of business, billing, and ongoing service of accounts and employees.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Prior Management Consulting experience

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
