As a Technology Consulting Manager, I lead clients’ project workstreams to ensure that project deliverables are fulfilling their needs. I analyze business requirements, technical solutions and operation processes, as well as plan project road maps and timelines.
Our recent work with The Central Group brand of retail, services and products in Thailand helped transform their customer loyalty program, and we developed The 1 App. We implemented a marketing strategy centered on digital technology, redefined the new mobile app experience, designed and implemented new ways of working and launched agile campaigns.
I worked closely as a bridge, connecting clients and team members to set the direction and lead the squads on project deliverables. I led the transformation of the loyalty program from a legacy system to a new platform with new features on a mobile application and website—resulting in increases in the number of app downloads, number of monthly active users and exclusive users’ spending in just 9 months.
I loved the opportunity to step up to manage the team. This was my first project working in a technical role, and it offered me the chance to develop business and technical solutions that helped drive business requirements and then guide the developer team to resolve issues. It was a great learning experience, allowing me to gain technical knowledge and skills and stretch myself for more responsibilities.
My team included Digital Strategy Senior Manager Laura Nickles, who helped identify better ways to engage customers; Experience Design Consultant Aomruethai Lo-apirakkul, who led the design team; and Digital Marketing Senior Manager Ekalak Trimetsuntorn, who served as the delivery lead.
