I handle multiple projects, so my schedule is quite packed with meetings. I usually spend my day coordinating with clients and project teams to review our progress and address any project roadblocks.
In the afternoon, I focus on writing business proposals, resource planning and just about everything in between. After my shift ends, I usually devote another hour reading through our internal training assets and external learning resources. Then, I reflect on what I did for the day and map out my priorities for the following day. Although I’ve got a lot on my plate, I make time to enjoy some snacks and have a laugh with my peers to boost our energy.
It never feels like a day at work for me. Why? It’s because I love what I do so much and the work we do makes a positive difference in people’s lives. One of the most interesting projects I’ve handled involved developing an app that helped the Thailand government distribute much-needed cash subsidies to millions of its citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic. It seemed like an impossible task to create an application from scratch in just five days, while also working remotely with colleagues from other countries. But we delivered.
This collaboration later evolved into another project: designing an e-wallet platform that offered hotel and travel vouchers to stimulate domestic tourism. In addition, we’re also supporting a government initiative that will facilitate the country’s shift to a digital payment system using blockchain technology.
I’m truly privileged to work with highly talented people who support each other so we can deliver the best work to our clients. We work together as one team to achieve the same goal. There is no “you” or “me.” There is only “we.” You win, I win. It’s rare to find a fun and dynamic working culture as we have at Accenture.
Off work, I enjoy cycling. Each year, I cycle up the highest mountain of each country in Asia. So far, I’ve done Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore. Apart from that, I also run an online store that sells clothes I designed.
