Co-developed with Singapore Food Manufacturing Association and Enterprise Singapore, our new food manufacturing-focused course aims to introduce sustainability concepts and key focus areas that are relevant to food manufacturing industry.

Subsidy eligibility conditions:

  • Subsidised course fee S$450 (not inclusive of GST) per participant is only applicable to nominees from local companies [1] and trade associations (TACs) [2].
  • Each eligible entity will be supported for up to a maximum of 3 participants for each type of ESP-Sustainability Course [3].
  • Each individual will only be supported to participate once for each type of ESP Sustainability Course.
  • The company or TAC is liable to make full payment for the course fees if it or its participants are found to be ineligible or fail to complete the course.

[1] Business entities registered and operating in Singapore. This excludes: (a) non-profit organisations and charities (registered as public companies limited by guarantee); and (b) foreign companies operating in Singapore (registered as branch or representative offices).

[2] Trade Associations (TACs) will need to fulfil the following criteria: a) registered with Registry of Societies (ROS) or Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA); and b) defined as a non-profit organisation.

By adopting sustainable practices, enterprises can not only reduce their environmental footprint but also enhance their competitiveness, customer loyalty and reputation in the marketplace. To succeed in the long term, enterprises need to embrace sustainability as a core business principle and contribute to Singapore's sustainable development.

Companies crucially rely on technology to run their businesses, but most fail to recognise that technology itself produces a substantial amount of carbon emissions. For example, with the rise in energy prices, ICT energy consumptions significantly impact the bottom line. As companies scale technology, a key focus will therefore be to achieve scaling without heavily impacting total emissions and minimising energy consumption. Green ICT will then play a pivotal role in allowing companies to develop efficient and sustainable technologies to fulfill wider sustainability agendas.

Accenture’s “Embracing Sustainability for Enterprise Growth in Food Manufacturing” is part of the ESP Foundational Course series. The course provides an understanding of macro and micro perspectives on sustainability for the food manufacturing industry, key regulations impacting businesses in Singapore, EU and US, resource optimisation, food side stream valorisation, and sustainable packaging. Participants will experience lab tours and connect with solution vendors to bring solutions to life.

Yes, the “Embracing Sustainability for Enterprise Growth” course is provided at a subsidised rate of S$450 (excluding prevailing GST) for local companies and trade associations, up to a maximum of 3 nominated participants. For details, please refer here.

Eligible participants who qualify for the subsidy upfront are only required to pay 30% of the course fees upon registration. However, they may be required to make full payment for the course if found ineligible or fail to complete the course.

The course can be attended by all professionals interested in sustainability, wanting to deepen their knowledge in Sustainability and understand the means to operationalise sustainability within the organisation.

There are no pre-requisites for this course.
