About the job
As a Sales Manager in Automotive you will help to grow the Nordic Automotive sales pipeline. You will lead this work in close collaboration with our Account Teams, our global S&C, technology, Song community, our Industry Leads and our Campaign Teams.
You will own the sale process in relevant deals through securing a close end-to-end trusted dialogue with the clients from idea until the deal is won.
In this role you will be:
- Leading medium to large complex sales opportunities, aligning Accenture’s value proposition to the strategic ambitions of our Automotive clients in the Nordics
- Manage sales strategy across the full opportunity cycle, including origination, seeking qualification and funding approvals internally, creating value propositions and submitting proposals, shaping client pitches, participating in negotiations, and closing opportunities;
- Lead the deal/bid team and work closely with the Client Account Lead, the client team and relevant subject matter experts to develop differentiated value propositions, and shape digital transformation solutions;
- Engage with senior stakeholders both at the client and within Accenture to secure the necessary support for the opportunity;
- Own, develop, and manage relationships with key buyers and decision makers at existing and / or new clients.
- Proactively work with clients to shape the digital transformation together with relevant internal subject matter experts.
- Create compelling and differentiating value proposition to the client and facilitate client workshops;
- Bring the right talent and subject matter experts to sales opportunities at the right time: coordinate large and diverse teams to deliver to often compressed client procurement timelines
- Create a compelling vision for the deal outcome through active listening, storytelling and immersive experiences

What are we looking for?
- Experience in leading medium to large sales opportunities across the sales lifecycle – origination to contracting.
- Good blend of commercial, sales and technical skills combined with a consultative mindset;
- Proven experience of working in Medium/Large complex contracting processes
- Proven ability to build client relationships with key stakeholders (including senior stakeholders) during a sales cycle;
- understanding of commercial and operational concepts and principles, for example , pricing mechanisms, payment terms and various delivery frameworks/regimes;
- Experience negotiating contracts, understanding key legal concepts and working with legal and contract management teams;
- Experience in leading and managing an opportunity team to deliver high quality and timely sales proposals
- Experience in collaborating with industry ecosystem partners such as Microsoft, SAP, Oracle etc are seen as a plus
- Experience with Nordic Automotive clients and key client relationships are seen as a plus
Personal profile
- You have a strong track record of demonstrating the ability to identify sound business growth opportunities and value for customers
- You enjoy teamwork and building bridges within the organization
- You are a good collaborator with experience of leading teams in complex set ups and under time pressure
- You have good presentation skills and the ability to articulate and present a compelling value proposition via customer meetings and product demonstrations
- You set the bar high for quality of your own work and the teams you work with
- You are a fast learner who appreciates that the world of technology is constantly evolving, and you must be able to keep pace
- You are an effective communicator, both verbally and written, in English. Knowing a Scandinavian language is a plus.
- You have an Academic degree, preferably at master’s level
- Preferably, you have experience of working within the Automotive industry, for example as a Sales lead, Senior consultant, Account lead, Delivery lead etc.
