Responsibilities:
Security Integration:
Integrate security tools, processes, and controls into the CI/CD pipeline.
Automate security testing for applications and infrastructure.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
Collaboration and Training:
Work collaboratively with development and operations teams to address security concerns.
Provide training and guidance to teams on secure coding practices and security tools.
Develop and maintain security documentation and training materials.
Incident Response:
Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents.
Conduct post-incident analysis and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Maintain and improve incident response plans and procedures.
Infrastructure Security:
Design and implement secure cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
Manage and secure container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
Continuously improve security practices and tools.
Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary improvements.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in DevOps, security, or a related field.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Experience with security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA).
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security features.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of network security, cryptography, and application security principles.
Preferred Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP).
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is preferred.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
