Translator and Interpreter. L1 Support Engineer. RPA Developer. These 3 roles describe my career, from my first day in Accenture, until now. How did I get from a background in Linguistics to developing BOTS, well, I took the chance that Accenture has offered me, and I made the best of it.
The first role was in my backpack when I arrived in the Accenture family. The second, was my first role in Accenture and the third is my current one. But the spark lies between 2 and 3.
As a senior RPA Developer, I'm in charge with developing automation solutions, maintaining these bots and aligning with the global team. I'm working closely with the other developers, trying to share the solutions I find whenever I encounter difficult situations.
During my journey in Accenture I understood that you have the opportunity to learn a lot, but most of all, learn a lot from others. The support I received here has helped me to switch from a Support Engineer role to a Developer role.
Now, I'm not only the person being called when there is an issue, but the person who oversees designing ideas, building bots, whose opinion matters when an automation opportunity is being analyzed. Last but not least, I'm paying forward what I received, therefore I'm helping others in their learning and development process.
Internship Mentor. Buddy. Hackathon Mentor. Hackathon Participant. Career Counselor. Hour of Code Teacher. Hackathon Juror. Coordinator. Volunteer. By driving up and forth through these roles I found a place where I'm constantly growing, feel appreciated, where I receive the support I need, a dynamic environment where I learn something new every day, a place where I can be myself.
