How I put change in motion

As part of Oracle Platform, I got to work on data migration projects in different roles such as business analyst or developer, testing the outcomes and experiencing lots of different perspectives. These require the drive to push things forward and teach me the importance of data quality.

A day in my life

My day starts with evaluating the “to-do list” to know what is essential and urgent to set my priorities. Blocking issues can affect more teammates or me, so letting all parts concerned know about them is somewhere at the top.

 

My day feels complete if I think that something, I did can be constructive for my colleagues or within the project. Understanding where issues are coming from seems always to be the biggest challenge. So, in my field, we start by looking at the data: what is outside of expectation, what looks different, how the events that produced the data would look.

 

Communication is essential, so I usually focus on actively listening and then organize my information.

My advice

Keep an open mind to what people are saying, even if it contradicts your expectations. Check the data to see if you understood correctly and always follow up.
