About the Team
We are looking for a skilled SAP BW/4HANA Consultant to join our team and contribute to innovative projects in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA and BW ON HANA, along with proficiency in ABAP and AMDP scripting. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and engagement in on-call support.
How Will You Make an Impact
Design, implement, and optimize SAP BW/4HANA and BW ON HANA solutions.
Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and reports using ABAP, AMDP scripting, SAC, and AFO (Analysis for Office) including planning.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Work with KAFKA Streaming, Informatica, and REST Web Services as part of the data integration process (not mandatory).
Engage in SAP JAVA Stack and SAP BO (Webi) development as required.
Utilize UNIX scripting, test management, and BMW Agile Tool Chain (Jira, Confluence, XRay) for workflow and project management.
Provide on-call support as needed.
Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and performance optimization.
Qualifications
What You Need to Succeed
Mandatory:
Primary Skills: SAP BW/4HANA, BW ON HANA
Development Expertise: ABAP, AMDP scripting, SAC, AFO (Analysis for Office) including planning
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
Experience with KAFKA Streaming, Informatica, and REST Web Services.
Familiarity with SAP JAVA Stack and SAP BO (Webi).
Knowledge of UNIX scripting, test management, and BMW Agile Tool Chain (Jira, Confluence, XRay).
German language skills (not mandatory but beneficial)
Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end BW/4HANA solutions.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
