You will be:

• Providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products both remote and onsite and for configured services running on various platforms operating within a defined operating model and processes.

• Providing hardware software support and implement technology at the operating system level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions vendors brands.

• Work includes L1 and L2 basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

• Planning and implementing medium to high-risk changes on production systems

• Participating in planning and designing new platforms and integrating new technologies into existing infrastructure

• Evaluating new technologies and new releases

• Conducting cost analysis of newly designed platforms and technologies Focus on Accenture and industry standards, policies and best practices

• Analyzing and assessing the impact and risk of low to medium risk changes on production systems

• Resolving Level 1 and 2 incidents affecting the operation availability of production systems, through troubleshooting and implementing known fixes

• Conducting trend analysis with a focus on proactive identification of events issues that threaten performance and a consistent timely resolution and documentation

• Deploying standard repeatable build outs

• Installing, configuring, patching and maintaining appropriate technologies e.g. servers databases network storage software solutions

• Managing and supporting backup strategies

• Analyzing system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions

• Monitoring vendors release notes and plan necessary upgrades and patches as required

• Assisting disaster recovery tests
