As a Strategy Consultant / Analyst – Chemicals & Natural Resources, you help companies secure their future and tap into new business areas. THE WORK:
Prepare the digital transformation of our customers. You accompany our customers from the chemical and process industries to renew their business models and processes. In doing so, you are always up to date on trends and sustainability aspects.
Turn the challenges of the industry to your advantage. You understand our customers and their needs, recognize improvement potential, and have a feel for contemporary technologies. Based on this, you formulate growth strategies and initiate M&A activities including due diligence, carve-out, and post-merger integration.
Strengthen the performance of chemical companies. Through the targeted use of cutting-edge technology and analytics tools, you enable our customers to improve their performance and consolidate their market position. And at the same time, you contribute to the further development of our own consulting portfolio.
Work within multinational teams. You join our international and interdisciplinary teams to deliver world-class business strategy solutions and help define strategic visions, strategies and new business models that address today’s business needs and future growth.
You build and manage client relationships and provide Chemicals and Natural Resources sector insights and experience related to business strategy development.
Qualifications
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
You have a master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in chemistry / chemical engineering / economics and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional foreign EU language such as German, French and Italian is a strong asset).
You have gained at least 2 years of relevant industry experience (Chemicals & Natural Resources) or initial experience in management consultancy with high interest in chemical industry (international exposure is a strong asset).
Ideally, you have already worked in the strategy department or in a line function of a company.
You know business processes in detail and are very interested in industrial contexts.
You are passionate about technology and digitalization topics and how they are integrated into business strategies.
