Qualifications
Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for actively participating in team discussions and providing solutions to work-related problems. Your typical day will involve independently performing tasks and becoming subject matter experts in the field.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues within critical business systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure system stability and performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Database Administration
- Strong understanding of database management systems and SQL queries.
- Experience in performance tuning, backup, and recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of database security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Database Administration.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
