Job Description

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Qualifications

Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Unix Shell Scripting, analyzing business requirements, and developing efficient and scalable applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop efficient and scalable applications using Unix Shell Scripting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful application implementation. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and performance. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve application development processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience with database management systems such as Oracle or MySQL. - Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application defects and issues. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Unix Shell Scripting. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
