Qualifications
Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and solving problems related to multiple components of the system, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Provide support and resolve issues within critical business systems.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to multiple components of the system.
- Ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address system issues.
- Document and maintain support processes and procedures.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Proficiency in Japanese.
- Strong understanding of application support principles and practices.
- Experience in infrastructure monitoring is a plus.
- Knowledge of software engineering and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with incident management and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Japanese.
- This position is based in Manila.
