Business Architecture Senior Manager

 

As an Accenture D365 F&O Solution Architect you are considered a leader in solutioning and implementing Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations Apps which include Finance, SCM, Commerce and Project Operations. Clients trust you to solve their problems because you understand what they need – and how to do it. You are your client’s advocate and the ultimate authority on how specific systems, applications or process designs can move their business forward.

You’re a problem solver, knowing the systems, applications and processes that will make a client happy, no matter how complex the Dynamics 365 modules or ISV solutions required. You bring expertise and creativity in business process redesigning and coaxing Customers to adopt leading business processes out of Dynamics 365. You can come up with the solution blueprint required to meet all of customer requirements. You can guide and lead individuals with various strengths to a common goal of client satisfaction and project success.

THE WORK:

 

Business and IT don’t always speak the same language. It can be hard for companies to know how IT can help solve their problems and increase profitability. They need you to understand their business and translate their needs into a software solution that will realize results. As an ERP Solution Architect, you’ll:

 

  • Establish global ERP architecture by integrating solutions across functional lines.

  • Support the account team in shaping deals, with accountability for overall estimates.

  • Recommend the right Dynamics apps and modules and industry specific ISV solutions.

  • Oversee your project team, establishing and tracking achievements, coordinating actions, seeking expert advice, handling open issues, and contributing to team meetings and reports

  • Leverage Accenture Assets and IP, especially Accenture’s proven deployment approach and tools for D365 F&O.

  • Define how we measure business and operations success and validate ERP system performance.

  • Lead across all phases of Accenture projects (e.g., Plan, Analyse, Design, Build, Test, Cut over and Hypercare)

  • Liaise effectively between clients – end-users and IT staff, larger Accenture team and business partners to ensure high quality and timely delivery.

  • Support clients on ERP standards and prepare them for using their ERP solution by setting training programs and redefining new roles and responsibilities.

  • Grow your network through educational opportunities, building and maintaining your personal and business networks, and joining professional organizations.

  • Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent, positive client interaction and solution delivery.

  • Travel as needed (based on project demands).

  • Be available as a mentor for F365 F&O functional consultants.

Qualifications

HERE'S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: ​

You are excited about working with a global technology leader to solve business-critical problems for some of the top companies in the world. You are a fast learner, self-starter, and creative thinker. You are passionate about software and its potential to move organizations forward through innovation.

Your technical skills include:

  • Understanding of common Industry standard business practices supported by Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, SCM, Commerce and Project Operations. Expertise in at least 2 of the above broad areas is preferred.
  • Other common Dynamics 365 competencies include.
  • Ability to guide customers through data migration tasks including consulting on best practices around data migration.
  • Familiarity with Data management including configurations.
  • Security framework - roles and best practices
  • Workflow configurations and designs
  • Exposure to FastTrack go-live assessment.
  • Understanding the integration options and underlying technologies available
  • RSAT Test Automation suite
  • Using Azure DevOps (or JIRA when required), test case planning and acceptance testing framework.
  • Basic understanding of Relational Database concepts

Your non-technical skills include:

  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
  • Client management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a larger team throughout an enterprise transformation.
  • Experience working with global/offshore teams on ERP technology implementation and maintenance projects is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience and confidence making customer presentations.

Preferred Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in related field

Preferred Certifications:

  • MB-700 Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect
  • Additional Certifications desirable:
  • MB-310: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance
  • MB-335: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
  • PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant

Preferred Years of Work Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in Consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing or supporting Dynamics 365 Finance or previous Dynamics AX version applications.
  • 5+ full implementation project lifecycles
