SAP Supply Chain Consultant (Inventory & Warehouse Management)
As an SAP Supply Chain Consultant, you will play a key role in reviewing, refining and enhancing existing SAP Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM/EWM) configurations within a live environment. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption while driving improvements across supply chain processes, inventory control, and system integrations.
Responsibilities:
Functional Consulting
Review and optimize existing SAP IM/WM/EWM configuration in a brownfield environment
Understand business requirements and translate them into SAP functional specifications
Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend best-practice supply chain solutions
Configure and support core IM/WM/EWM processes including:
Goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers
Inventory control and physical inventory
Warehouse structures, bin management, picking, packing and staging
Support master data definition and governance including material master, storage locations, and warehouse structures
Prepare functional specification documents for RICEFW objects
Work with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, EWM/TM, and Finance) on integration touchpoints
Participate in workshops, walkthroughs, and solution presentations
Integration & Process Improvement
Support integration activities including API mapping, testing and functional alignment across supply chain and external systems (e.g. procurement, logistics providers, 3PLs)
Analyse end-to-end supply chain processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation
Ensure alignment between warehouse operations, inventory processes, and upstream/downstream systems
Testing Responsibilities
Create and execute detailed test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases
System Integration Testing (SIT)
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Regression testing
Log defects, track resolution, and validate fixes
Work closely with business users to validate supply chain processes and expected outcomes
Ensure all testing deliverables meet quality and audit standards
General
Deliver documentation across gap analysis, process design, and configuration
Collaborate with stakeholders across supply chain, operations, and technical teams
Support ongoing system improvements, enhancements, and transformation initiatives
Requirements:
7+ years SAP Supply Chain functional experience with a focus on Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM)
Proven experience in brownfield environments and live system configuration
Strong knowledge of inventory processes including goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory
Experience with warehouse processes such as bin management, picking, packing, and stock movements
Experience supporting integrations from a functional perspective (e.g. APIs, EDI, middleware)
Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles
Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
