Functional Consultant - o9 Supply Chain Planning System Implementation

Overview:

The Functional Consultant specializing in the implementation of the o9 Supply Chain Planning System will play a pivotal role in transforming the client’s supply chain operations. They will be crucial in ensuring that the o9 platform is effectively integrated and utilized to its fullest potential, driving efficiency, transparency, and optimization across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with the client to understand their business processes, supply chain challenges, and specific requirements. Conduct detailed analysis to map these requirements to the o9 platform capabilities.

  • Solution Design: Under the direction of the Solution Architect, design and configure the o9 Supply Chain Planning System to meet the client's needs. Develop functional specifications and ensure that the solution aligns with standard o9 functionality and client objectives.

  • Implementation and Configuration: Support the implementation process, including system configuration, data migration, and integration with other enterprise systems.

  • Testing and Validation: Execute test plans to ensure the solution meets the defined requirements. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and business simulation, and address any issues or gaps identified during the testing phase.

  • Training and Support: Support training for end-users and stakeholders to ensure they are proficient in using the o9 platform. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to address any post-implementation issues.

  • Project Management: Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a functional consultant in supply chain management systems, preferably with experience in implementing the o9 platform.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, fulfilment, and service management.

  • Proficiency in system configuration, data migration, and integration with other enterprise systems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Certification in supply chain management or related fields is a plus.
