Energy Trading and Risk Management Consultant
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced consultant to join our team as an IT Business liaison and process facilitator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between IT development and business operations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
You will also be responsible for transforming their trading business and IT landscape, driving innovation, and delivering value to our business and customers.

How do you know this could be the role for you?
- Act as the primary liaison between the IT development team and various energy trading business units, facilitating effective communication and understanding of requirements.
- Lead and oversee the gathering and validation processes, taking ownership of the design phase to ensure alignment with business objectives and needs.
- Manage and prioritize requirements, working closely with stakeholders to translate them into actionable user stories.
- Conduct system configuration, test planning, and execution activities.
- Defining, planning, and executing end-to-end Commodity Trading & Risk Management solutions, including transaction capture, risk management, logistics, and accounting.
- Perform Functional analysis work in support of ETRM/CTRM implementations
- Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and provide timely updates to stakeholders on project status.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement in processes and systems.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
- Bachelor's or Master´s degree
- You’re experienced in energy or commodities trading, within the oil and gas or utilities industries, and you’re hungry to expand your expertise and put it to use.
- Good understanding of ETRM platforms (specifically Endur is advantageous),
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to process improvement.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Fluency in English and a Scandinavian language is preferred.
