At Accenture, our Strategy & Consulting Resources team is growing and looking for experienced Analysts, Consultants and Managers to help global energy companies utilize technology and IT to overcome challenges, optimize and innovate their business.
 

Your Role: In Resources, you’ll be part of a supportive, dynamic team solving exciting challenges for leading companies in the Energy, Utilities and Renewables Industry. You will work in project teams, closely with our clients, in endeavors related to digital transformation and enhancements, with a specific focus and competency area on industry and technology advisory, project management support, change assessment and value realization assessments.

In this role, your responsibilities will encompass tackling digital challenges, actively engaging in project execution or leading project workstreams. This includes defining operating models, crafting digital strategies, conducting thorough due diligence, and participating in a wide range of tasks and activities related to technology assessments and IT architecture. Throughout, you’ll have opportunities to grow your skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities as a Consultant include:

  • Help clients select and implement emerging technologies, such as GenAI, to drive innovation and competitive advantage
  • Optimize clients IT operating model to align with business strategy and improve efficiency
  • Work as a technology advisor for a client’s business owner and product owners in their digital application landscape, ensuring that business needs are translated effectively into technical requirements and implemented according to achieve value realization.
  • Conduct technology assessments and provide recommendations for improving a client’s IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Support business growth by identifying opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to proposal work for future projects.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you have: 

  • Master’s degree with strong academic results in a relevant field, e.g. technology management, information technology, finance, industrial economics, business, administration, mathematics or other relevant areas.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting and/or energy industry Energy, Utilities, and Renewables, with a focus on digitalization, technology or IT. For Manager level, the candidate is expected to have more than five years of relevant experience.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional and global teams and thriving in creative problem-solving environments.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbally (English and a Scandinavian language).
  • Project management experience from a problem-solving environment.
  • Your personality traits are ambitious and analytical with a methodical and systematic approach to challenges.
  • As a person you are technologically savvy with a commercial mindset and enjoy working in the interface between technology and business.

The position will report to the Managing Director for the Nordic Energy Industries and working place is Oslo or Stavanger, Norway. With some travels to be expected.
