Stuart Henderson leads Accenture’s Products Client Group in the U.S. and serves on the company’s Global Management Committee. With a portfolio spanning life sciences, consumer goods, retail, travel, industrials, aerospace and defense, and automotive, Stuart helps clients embrace transformation — especially Data & AI — to improve patient outcomes and accelerate drug discovery, reinvent retail value chains and use technology to personalize consumer experiences, and help the aerospace and defense industry emphasize long-term resiliency through automation, robotics, and tech-enabled supply chains.
Stuart brings more than 25 years of experience to his role, earning recognition for his deep understanding of industry disruptions and emerging opportunities. He is adept at strategizing and executing change, with particular expertise in helping companies pivot and transform their mindsets, approach, and business models to succeed in a new era.
Before his current role, Stuart held several executive positions at Accenture. Most recently, he led the Northeast Market Unit, where he was responsible for managing client relationships, personnel, offices, community engagement, and financial outcomes across Accenture’s five Client Groups in the region. Additionally, as a Diamond Client Account Lead, Stuart developed and nurtured relationships with many of the world’s top companies operating in the U.S. and Canada, driving value and collaborative growth. As the global industry lead for life sciences, he guided strategies, offerings, and thought leadership to help pharmaceutical, biotech, medical technology, distributor, and consumer health companies transform the future of medicine and care.
Prior to joining Accenture, Stuart worked in corporate strategy and development, including leading R&D strategy at AstraZeneca and managing life sciences strategy and transformation at IBM Global Business Services.
Stuart is a graduate of De Montfort University, where he earned a bachelor’s in information technology.
