Job Description

THE WORK

At Accenture Industry X, we help organizations tackle their most complex capital project challenges. By combining cutting-edge technology with deep industry expertise, we optimize capital-intensive projects to enable greater performance, reliability, and sustainability. Your vision for value starts with the asset journey and extends across the entire lifecycle - from ideation to construction to their end-of-life. You touch the asset lifecycle every step of the way.

As a Power Engineering Consultant, you will leverage Industry X's capabilities to help clients realize a more resilient and sustainable energy infrastructure. We help utility clients optimize their asset lifecycle—from initial design to decommissioning. You will work on various projects at the core of the energy transition, where your work could entail, among others, conducting feasibility studies, developing technical designs, renewable energy integration, grid modernization, congestion management and standardizing processes to drive sustainability in both new assets and the installed base.

  • People: As part of a diverse and dynamic team of consultants, engineers, and industry experts, you’ll work on innovative solutions addressing critical challenges in the energy sector. Collaborating closely with clients, you’ll analyze challenges, design strategies to improve operational efficiency and implement impactful tools and solutions. You will coach other consultants and share your knowledge. Together, we ensure systems are ready to meet current and future demands in the energy sector.

  • Processes: As a Power Engineer, your responsibilities revolve around realizing innovative solutions, helping clients address capital challenges in the energy and infrastructure sectors. You’ll have opportunities to grow your expertise, engaging in technical discussions with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the lifecycle of assets is optimized. In this dynamic role, no two days are the same. Your work will include, for instance, conducting technical feasibility studies, providing recommendations for infrastructure upgrades, assessing and optimizing grid performance, collaborating on strategic roadmaps or designing and implementing solutions.

  • Technology: At Industry X, we apply a wide range of latest and most intelligent technologies in the domain of Engineering and Digitization to enable digital transformation at our clients. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, including digital twins, IoT platforms, machine learning, and advanced grid modelling tools, among others.

  • Data: Data plays a central role in this role, enabling you to analyze grid performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. You'll leverage data analytics to support decision-making, track the success of implemented solutions, and provide insights for proactive grid management.

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

WHO WE ARE

We create value by strategy and design, unraveling complexities with our approach as a powerful instrument of change. The way we do so is by designing and engineering products, platforms and services that build bridges between users, technology and business needs.
