Job Description

The Work

Join us as an  Cloud Engineer. Your role will be multifaceted, involving in the teams effort of keeping the customers environments up and running alongside your expertise in Azure you will play a crucial role in building new solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, as you also will design and implement Cloud solutions. Your insights will be instrumental in supporting our customers.

  • People In this role, you'll be an integral part of a full stack team. Your collaboration will extend to a group of specialized consultants and operational engineers. Together, your combined efforts will empower various teams to effectively deliver and deploy cloud solutions.
  • Processes As a cloud Engineer, your daily focus will be on the maintenance of our managed platform solutions. You'll be continuously working on improving solutions and evolving existing ones, keeping pace with the latest updates. This ensures that our customer environments are not only innovative but also robust and reliable.
  • Technology The technical environment will be integrated with customer applications. You'll not only support but also rigorously test the solutions developed by you and your team, utilizing your strong skills as cloud Engineer doing analysis and reporting.

With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need

  • At least 5 years relevant work experience

  • Fluency both in Dutch and English

  • Strong understanding of Azure Cloud engineering

  • Pre experienced in Azure native solutions

  • Pre experienced in Hybrid Azure/On-premises environments

  • Strong understanding of Windows

  • Pre basic understanding of Linux

  • Pre experienced in bicep

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-code (IaC)

  • Experience in monitoring IT environments

  • Pre strong passion for automation preferably ansible

  • You reside in the Netherlands

Bonus points if you have

  • Strong understanding of Linux OS

  • Experience with tools like ansible and/or terraform (for Senior this is a must actually)

  • Operational experience with Kubernetes
