In your job as enterprise technology architect, you will work with enterprise executives, business owners and product management to define the North Star, formulate the strategic themes and vision; and identify portfolio level enablers.

These form the basis of solution intent and architectural runways for end-to-end solutions in Accenture’s large transformational initiatives involving major cloud infrastructure, software and platforms-as-a-services providers and hyperscalers.

Typical initiatives leverage new technologies in migrating infrastructure workloads, refactoring solutions, decoupling systems and unlocking data through custom engineering, quality assurance, event driven architectures, integration platform as a service (iPaaS) and application performance monitoring.

• People You’ll be leading or be part of projects with diverse, international teams, serving clients across various industries, mainly collaborating with mid to senior level clients.

  • You will for example communicate the ‘why’ of technology and cloud first to epic owners at the client and get the architecture transformation projects sold and delivered.

  • You understand the impact and assist client enterprise architects on modern architecture ways of working, due to the adoption of, among others, dual-speed IT operating models, the SAFe framework, Design Thinking, Test-Driven Design and DevSecOps.

• Processes Your role involves being an integral part of the process and taking responsibility for delivering expert advice and implementing specific stages of our clients' cloud journeys.

  • You have deep hands-on technical expertise in application design, migration, modernisation and decoupling.

  • You will collaborate with Accenture advisory, engineering and operations team members across business agility, application modernisation, infrastructure, custom engineering, quality engineer, data and AI.

• Technology At Accenture Cloud First, we pride ourselves on being cloud technology agnostic, meaning we are not bound to any single cloud provider or technology. This makes us the go-to consultancy for multi- or hybrid cloud assignments.

  • You will articulate enterprise, solution and system architectures with, among others, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Service (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as part of the solution which demonstrates significant and quantifiable business value to the client.

  • You will architect a compelling and competitive solution involving public and private cloud component(s).

The role of lead for Cloud Advisory (previously known as Cloud First Design) is to spearhead the organization that is forms the bridge between origination, sales and solutioning on one hand and infra engineering for the execution of large scale cloud transformations on the other. Cloud Advisory teams with our Sales team to cocreate a transformational program together with the client and then remain close by as the trusted advisor to create the runway for Infrastructure Engineering, Platform and Software Engineering and the entire Accenture ecosystem to be able to differentiate and truly deliver business value for the client.

The lead for Cloud Advisory (CFD) leads a unit of 45 senior cloud advisors, business agilists and enterprise architects that partner with clients in all industries to shape business-aligned strategies and visions, chart out benefits, ways of working, teams, roadmaps and architectures for modernizing their technology foundations in a hybrid multi cloud environment.
