Arundhati Chakraborty is the Group Chief Executive of Accenture Operations and is responsible for growing the company’s Operations business and bringing innovation to Accenture’s clients, tapping vast opportunities created with generative AI and automation. She oversees a global team of over 220,000 professionals, leveraging her extensive expertise in orchestrating complex transformations and managing large-scale global teams. Her ability to shape and implement talent strategy across diverse teams helps create even greater value for clients around the world.
Previously, as the Delivery and Transformation Lead for Operations, Arundhati directed 185,000 professionals across more than 125 Intelligent Operations Centers worldwide. Her focus was on delivering rapid transformation for clients by harnessing advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation. This role built on her deep leadership experience at Accenture, including her tenure leading the Philippines Delivery Centers and the Global Transition and Solutioning teams.
Arundhati joined Accenture in 2013, bringing with her significant experience from pivotal roles in M&A and Global Alliances at mPhasis, as well as leadership positions at Target in India, where she played a key role in enhancing business services. Her early career was in financial services, where she spent over 13 years at Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank and specialized in Retail Banking and Wealth Management. Arundhati’s experience in building global teams and handling complex client transformations along with her strategic vision will be instrumental in driving innovation and growth for Accenture’s clients and re-inventing and growing our Operations business.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Arundhati is dedicated to leadership development and social advocacy. She has led Accenture’s Talent of the Future program and co-sponsored the Winning in the New initiative for emerging leaders. She is also a strong advocate for initiatives that empower women and promote education for children.
