Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Excellent written and spoken English, communication and presentation skills
Deep understanding of networking and software
Comprehensive general information/IT security knowledge
A strong security mindset
Experience with Linux/Unix systems
Basic hands-on scripting or programming experience
Basic security automation skills
Understanding of basic security architecture and design principles
Knowledge of secure development principles (S-SDLC)
Database security knowledge
Good understanding of cryptography principles and management of sensitive information
In-depth understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms and identity management
Expertise in common web and infrastructure security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top10)
Experience with field-relevant security tools – penetration testing tools, SOC/SIEM tools, network detection and response tools, firewalls, vulnerability management tools, etc.
Expert skills in the chosen security field – penetration testing, source code security review, configuration security review, vulnerability assessment/management, DevSecOps, cloud security, security architecture, risk assessment/management, SOC/SIEM, IAM/PAM, incident response, SAP Security, OT Security, data protection
EU citizenship (due to projects)
Good-to-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Cyber Security
CEH, CRT, OSCP, TIGER, CISSP, or alternative security certifications
Experience with cloud technologies
Experience with DevOps pipelines
Software development experience
Experience with enterprise platform security (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Experience with security frameworks and standards, like NIST, PCI-DSS, CIS, ISO27001, GDPR
Risk management or security management experience
