Over here, hard work is always recognized and rewarded. And this comes in many forms – a new challenging project, a recommendation by mentors and bosses, training opportunities and promotions, among others. In my current tenure, I’ve been promoted twice in just over two years.
Although I quit Accenture in 2018 when my family shifted to Paris, I continued to be in touch through the alumni network. It took me a year to overcome the language barrier after which I reached out to Accenture in Paris and the support I received was very heartening. I was soon brought on board. The One Accenture culture truly helped me ease back in and it was comforting to work in a familiar organization where people knew my work and me. Unfortunately, Covid cut short our stay in Paris and we had to head back home. During a period when job losses were the norm, Accenture stood by me! When I reached out to my managers they responded immediately and helped me with all the paperwork required to facilitate my relocation to India. This sense of being taken care of is unique!
In my spare time, I love watching movies with my children. Our interests range from animation, fantasy to comedies and mysteries I also use programing to develop games from scratch with my child. Painting, along with an occasional game of badminton with the family, helps me unwind.
