Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of Workday Core HCM and Workday Advanced Compensation. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business needs, and designing innovative solutions to optimize business processes and enhance user experience. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design and develop applications based on business requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs. - Create technical specifications and design documents. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in application design. - Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM, Workday Advanced Compensation. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core HCM integrations. - Strong understanding of HR business processes and data models. - Experience in designing and implementing Workday Core HCM and Advanced Compensation solutions. - Knowledge of Workday security and role-based permissions. - Familiarity with Workday reporting and analytics tools. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Workday Core HCM. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - Workday advanced compensation Experience and certification is mandatory. 15 years full-time education is required.
