We are seeking for an experienced Research and Development Domain expert with a deep understanding of discrete manufacturing industry and technical expertise in R&D/PLM related IT applications. This role will leverage your expertise to drive digital transformation, optimize business processes, and develop innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Roles and Responsibilities: - Reimagine, build, and transform R&D/PLM Digitization capability at Accenture by developing cutting edge assets, tools and methodologies, development of PoVs, research, white papers, support development of Go-to-market activities and offerings. - Anchor client visits by demonstrating industry leading asset, solutions and offerings to client teams - Manage and mentor talented teams of consultants/technologists by providing guidance and actively participating in other capability development activities - Support client proposals related to R&D/PLM Digitization Capabilities by bringing in the domain and Industry expertise. Contribute the solutioning team with solution designing, estimation and work breakdown - Enable transformation in R&D/PLM projects to drive innovation and process Excellence - Leading/working closely with business and client stakeholders to understand client pain points, diagnose problem areas and co-develop suitable assets/solutions Professional and Technical Skill: - Minimum 10+ years of domain experience in end-to-end R&D and PLM lifecycle including product ideation, design, development, testing, and launch. - Experience of working in Industrial & Electrical Equipment or Heavy Equipment companies is mandatory - Hands-on experience of industry-leading IT applications used in R&D and PLM, such as PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault Enovia, PTC Windchill), CAD/CAM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo), and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) is good to have - End-to-end implementation experience on suite of PLM systems from Siemens, Dassault, and PTC in mid to large-scale projects involving multiple systems in areas of PLM, BOM, ECM, Master Data Management and Digital Thread space - Strong understanding of best practices, industry trends, regulatory changes in R&D and PLM business processes - Good understanding of emerging technologies in PLM Enablement, BOM, Data Management and Digital Twin/Thread areas - Certifications in PLM systems like Siemens Digital Industrial certification, 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Essentials will be added advantage - Project Leading Experience on integrating PLM with cloud skills (Azure, AWS) is preferred - Strong business analysis and requirement gathering skills are a must - Leadership skills along with strong communication, problem solving, critical thinking, organizational and delegation skills - Be adept at collaborating in a multi-stakeholder environment handling complex digital projects engagements, preferably in a global network. - Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and documentation skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.) - Excellent customer facing capabilities, client relationships & an established track record for selling and delivering high-quality engagements. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of overall experience. BE/BTech. MBA candidates can also be considered. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office - 15 years full time education is required
