Summary: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. You will build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Your typical day will involve working on various aspects of CI/CD, cloud technologies, and container orchestration to enhance the development process and ensure smooth deployment of applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software development and deployment. - Implement and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Ensure the security of systems and applications by implementing appropriate security measures. - Collaborate with development teams to optimize the software development process. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and implement best practices. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. - Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement. - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security standards. - Document processes, procedures, and configurations for future reference. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse. - Experience with continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. - Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash. - Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus or ELK stack. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
