Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining applications that support the organization's operations and enhance its efficiency and productivity. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, designing application solutions, and implementing them to meet the desired outcomes. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving application issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design application solutions. - Implement application solutions to meet the desired outcomes. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure smooth functioning of the applications. - Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application development. - Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the application development process. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into application enhancements. - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality application solutions. - Document application design, development, and maintenance processes. - Participate in meetings and discussions to provide inputs and insights on application development. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and tools in the field of application development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BASIS Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Monitoring & Tools, SAP HANA DB Administration. - Strong understanding of SAP BASIS Administration principles and best practices. - Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems. - Knowledge of SAP system landscape design and architecture. - Expertise in SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Familiarity with SAP security concepts and implementation. - Experience in SAP system upgrades and patching. - Solid grasp of SAP transport management and change control processes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP BASIS Administration. - This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
