Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the applications and providing support to the team. A typical day in this role involves troubleshooting and resolving software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your technical skills and contribute to problem-solving discussions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to build knowledge and support the team. - Participate in Problem Solving discussions. - Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by users. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve application-related problems. - Ensure timely resolution of incidents and minimize downtime. - Contribute to the development and implementation of application support processes and procedures. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Document and maintain knowledge base articles for future reference. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Red Hat OS Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux system administration. - Strong understanding of system administration concepts and best practices. - Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and techniques for identifying and resolving software issues. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python. - Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of applications and systems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 0-2 years of experience in Red Hat OS Administration. - This position is based at our Coimbatore office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
