Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions that enhance business operations and drive efficiency. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and leveraging your expertise in SAP BASIS Administration to deliver high-quality applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Ensure smooth functioning of SAP BASIS Administration. - Perform system installations, upgrades, and patches. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. - Manage user access and security settings. - Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions. - Conduct system testing and resolve any defects or issues. - Document technical specifications and user manuals. - Stay updated with the latest SAP BASIS Administration trends and best practices. - Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BASIS Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Cloud Migration on Azure, SAP HANA DB Administration, Cloud Infrastructure. - Strong understanding of SAP BASIS Administration principles and best practices. - Experience in system installation, configuration, and maintenance. - Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts. - Familiarity with SAP system monitoring and performance tuning. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP BASIS Administration. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
