Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. You will perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure the smooth operation of the database systems. - Design and implement new databases based on business requirements. - Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and performance tuning. - Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and security. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends. - Assist in the development and implementation of database policies and procedures. - Train and mentor junior database administrators. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard. - Strong understanding of database concepts and architecture. - Experience in database installation, configuration, and upgrade. - Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Understanding of database security principles and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Indore office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
