Project Role : Application Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Must have skills :- 1 - IBM Websphere MQ Administration L3 2 - IBM Websphere Administration L3 3 - IHS Administration L3 Good to have skills :- 1 - Oracle Weblogic Administration L3 2 - Apache Administration 3 - IIS Administration Technical Requirements :- Overall 2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience 1 - Have good knowledge in setting up IBM WebSphere MQ distributed queuing environment. 2 - Administration and Configuration of IBM WebSphere MQ on different environments like Aix, Solaris, Linux, Windows 3 - Installation Up-gradation of WebSphere MQ on various Authorized Platforms 4 - Setting MQ clustering HA environment triggering, monitoring, and defining MQ objects in Unix, Windows Platforms. 5 - Providing Enhanced support for all new projects wherever MQ is involved 6 - Configuration and troubleshooting of SSL for Queue managers and Message Broker. 7 - Deployment and troubleshooting of Message Flows. 8 - Creation of IBM MQ and Execution groups and Enabling and reading trace for the message flows and apply fix Applying patches for IBM WebSphere MQ and Setting up subscriptions on Message Queuing. 9 - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with excellent understanding of system development methodologies, techniques and tools 10 - Installing, configuring and administering/managing WebSphere Application Server Product suite on UNIX and Windows flavors. 11 - Resolving issues with WebSphere and associated technologies. 12 - Trouble shooting of WAS environment and applications (Analyze JVM logs, Trace Logs, FFDC, native logs, java core, heap dumps) 13 - Performance tuning WAS by configuring caching, queuing, pooling, heapsize and optimizing other JVM parameters 14 - Work with Enterprise Architecture team and development teams for with WebSphere Application server and Portal Server implementations. 15 - Migration expertise in WebSphere Application Server, migrate instances from the older version to latest version using tools like Application and Configuration Migration Toolkits 16 - Creating JACL/Jython, Unix shell Scripting for administration 17 - Involve in ongoing research, development and testing of WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server and Security Vulnerability. This includes configuration of DMZ environment 18 - Engage in setup, deploys, security management, capacity management, and will coordinate backup / restore and system recovery activities. Also supports infrastructure architecture, application integration, projects setup and deployments. 19 - Monitor application infrastructure for service availability supporting business operations. 20 - Configuring and integrating applications with Single-SignOn (SSO) and SAML. Professional experience requirements :- 1 - Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment 2- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 3 - Desire to work in an information systems environment 4- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills 5 - Willingness to work in a 24 * 7 Environment on rotational shifts 6 - Must adhere to Protocols laid by Project and Organization. Key Responsibilities :- 1 - Drives automation initiatives for Middleware Installation, configuration and Administration. 2 - Develops business cases to justify strategic investment in systems architecture, including analysis of future growth and cost reduction opportunities. 3 - Provides technical engineering and design review for new Middleware platforms, applications, infrastructure. 4 - Identifies and reports Key Performance Indicators, focusing on capacity planning and performance analysis. 5 - Provision, maintain and provide Middleware support in a heterogeneous platform environment. 6 - Manage environment for Middleware servers, security compliance, monitoring, performance tuning analysis. 7 - Provide support for troubleshooting and problem resolution related to Middleware technologies. 8 - Document administration processes/procedures to ensure optimal levels of support. 9 - Research, analyze, and recommend changes required for system growth by utilizing industry standard monitoring and research tools. 10 - Implements policies, procedures, and technologies and follows established security standards. 11 - Cross-functional collaboration to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of servers to meet business demands
